Open Invitation- South West NHW Webinar – Crimestoppers & Rural Crime

Hi everyone,

We’re really pleased to invite all South West Neighbourhood Watch members to join us for our next online webinar on Tuesday 17th March at 4pm (via Zoom).

This session includes two brilliant guest speakers who I know you’ll find really interesting and useful:

🔹 Karen McDonald from Crimestoppers – Karen will talk about the work of Crimestoppers, explain how the anonymous reporting process works, and share how the information provided by the public directly supports police investigations and wider crime prevention. It’s a great opportunity to better understand how we can confidently signpost residents to this service.

🔹 A representative from the Rural Crime Policing Team, Devon & Cornwall – We’ll hear about the types of crime affecting our rural communities across Devon & Cornwall, along with practical advice on what to look out for and simple steps you can take to better protect your area.

Whether you’re in a town, village or more rural setting, there’ll be something relevant for everyone – and plenty of opportunity to ask questions.
